Mabel Rita Almeida short C.V.

Mabel Rita Almeida graduated as a National Teacher of Classical Ballet at the National Dance Institute "Maria Ruanova" (Buenos Aires Argentina). Her experience includes studies with internationally renowned masters such as: Eleni and Serguei Radchenko (Russia), David Howard (USA), Wladimir Lopukov (Russia), Maria Elena Martinez (Cuba), Mihaela Taslaoanu (Ukraine). The value of her multi-faceted training is imparted in her lectures

She has danced in various professional companies classical , neoclassical and contemporary choreographies as a soloist as well as a principal dancer ("The River" by Alvin Ailey, "Carmina Burana" John Butler, "Carmen" Joseph Carbone, "Anne Frank" by Maurice Wainrot, "Wing of Cupids" by Nils Christie, "House of Tears" by Donald McKayle, "The Lost Cries" Choo San Goo, "Fandango" by Mauro Galindo, "Juliana" by Margo Sappington, "Swan Lake" "Don Quijote", "The Nutcracker," "The Silfids". She joined tha Ballet Company of the Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires and danced the Ballet "Cono Sur", a dance duet "Legend of Love" by Serguei Radchenko. She has performed in Venezuela with various companies as the Venezuela Youth Ballet, Ballet Nuevo Mundo of Caracas, the Metropolitan Ballet of Caracas, the Contemporary Ballet of Caracas. With these companies she has toured Venezuela, the United States, Israel, Italy, Bosnia and Europe.
In 2001 she was awarded the lifetime achievement award for young artists by the National Endowment of the Arts of the argentine Government, in agreement with the Italian Government
Since 1994 Mabel teaches at qualified schools and professional companies of Venezuela, Uruguay, Argentina and Italy. Since 2001 she appears as guest for various centers of Dance in Florence and Tuscany.
In 2004, she guest dance in the "Aula Paul VI " in Vatican City on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, and the EU accession of 10 new countries.

She works with "Gisella Zilembo Eventi Danza ", Associazione "MAB" and "Circuito Promozione Danza"forming part of the staff of teachers, and participating in all the events of these organizations realized. From November 2010 will be the teacher of the Ballet Artistic Residences MAB/Carolina Ballet Theater for the improvement of dancers and teachers, based in Rimini (Italy). She formed part of the important panel of judges in "Danza in Fiera 2011" (Florence-Italy) organized by the "MAB" for the Vancouver City Dance Theatre (Canada)and of the International Ballet Competition "MAB" (years 2011, 2012 2013 and 2014).

Since 2014 for four consecutive years she has been the teacher of DancEducational, professional training course for students and teachers of Ballet organized by the Dance Coordination UISP Veneto (Italy).  
Member of the prestigious cast of jury of the International Classical and Neoclassical Dance Competition "MAB" (years: 2011, 2012 , 2013, 2014 and 2015), "Metro Talent" (Danza in Fiera/Firenze 2014 and 2015), President of the Jury of the Regional Dance Veneto UISP (years: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017), jury in "Danzare per la vita" (Sanremo - 2014), in "Rimini SI Danza" (Rimini - 2017), in "Ballando con il cuore" (Danza in Fiera/Firenze 2019), etc. She was one of the Ballet teachers in the summer stage "Sardinia Dance Summer" (Sardinia - Italy) in the editions 2017, 2018 and 2019). In July 2020 he was part of the staff of teachers of the stage organized by Carlotta Silvagni in Comacchio (Italy).
In July 2020 it was convened by the National School of Dance of Venezuela to participate in virtual days of dialogue and reflection on formation, where masters and directors of prestigious international institutions participated. She was also invited by the "Ballet de las Américas" Foundation to give online lessons for students from all over Venezuela. She was one of the teachers of Classical Dance in the event "Champions Camp 2020" (Lido degli Scacchi - Italy), on the summer campus  "Settimane in Danza 2021" (Lignano Sabbiadoro - Italy), and in July will also participate in the year 2022 of the latter event.

She took part as choreographer in the 5th edition (online) of the Dance Festival "Líneas y Movimientos" (Venezuela, year 2021) and was summoned by the School of Danzas Teresa Mann of Panama as an examiner (remote exams, August 2021). She was invited to participate in the interview "Successful Teachers Inspiring Young Teachers" of the European Festival of Schools 2021, organized by the Foundation Cultural Simona Noja.

In September 2023, she taught in the Asociación Profesionales de la Danza (Madrid - Spain) and in LAD dance Studio (Aranjuez -Spain).

Between the months of March and April of the year 2024 he played the roles of teacher and assistant choreographer in the company Balletto del Sud (Lecce - Italy).

Academic dance juror of CSEN Florence. Member of the International Dance Council CID (UNESCO).She also obtained a certificate in Progressing Ballet Technique (junior, senior and advanced programs).
